QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area (business, engineering).
  • Experience in sales in an engineering consulting environment or related environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Able to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Organized and able to deal with multiple tasks

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains action plans that are directly related to achieving strategic goals and specific opportunities; coordinates the execution of action items and conducts follow-up meetings with internal resources.
  • Identifies customer leads by cold calling and social media engagement and conducts initial meetings; schedules and organizes meetings for team members with clients as it may be necessary to achieve goals.
  • Completes follow-up with potential clients, seeks feedback, and regularly reports to management regarding developments and potential roadblocks.
  • Negotiates contracts with clients and provides recommendations.
  • Supports the preparation of proposals and project cost estimates,
  • Completes follow-up calls and client meetings; reports regularly to the management team about status and developments.
  • Manages internal resources; works with individuals in various levels of the organization to develop plans for business development initiatives, organize execution, and conduct follow-up.
  • Provides team with support regarding customer information, scheduling, and preparation of materials
  • Recommend and advise on content for marketing material as may be needed.
  • Determines and implements business development-related best practices
