Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Business Development Manager for our Safety & Security segment, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing and cultivating new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of government procurement processes, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate sophisticated regulatory environments.
The product portfolio consists of radiation detection and chemical identification, measurement systems for portable and solution build applications, mainly used by: Law Enforcement, First Responders and Armed Forces.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Conduct detailed market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, IGO’s and industry organizations.
- Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals, bids, and tenders in response to government RFPs (Request for Proposals).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect vital information and develop compelling proposals.
- Present our portfolio and applications on conferences, trade associations and partner meetings
- Work closely with our Marketing to sharing insides on product improvements, new applications and product introductions.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of government business initiatives and pipeline.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Physics, Chemistry or Engineering
- Proficient in English language is required, additional languages will be an advantage
Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, with a focus on governmental business.
- Proven track record of successfully securing government contracts and managing client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable in presenting our products and solutions on virtual and live events.
- Knowledge on radiation detection and/or chemical identification equipment is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Meeting end users and/or new prospects is what you love to do.
Travel Requirement: Encouraged travel 50% of time within EMEA
