Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
Samsung Electronics Romania is one of the 16 Samsung Electronics Sales subsidiaries in Europe. Samsung being the market leader in consumer electronics, is transforming the world of TV, home appliances, mobile, semiconductors and LED solutions. We are looking for a Sales person capable to open new accounts by advising customers how to leverage professional displays to achieve their business goals and team player to join our B2B Team for Professional Signage business.
Smart Signage Business Development Manager

Main Responsibilities

  • Support and actively work with Samsung local subsidiary for LED and LFD, B2B market grow.
  • Identify and approach new customers, open new opportunities, develop new business models based on directions and strategy of Enterprise Business Team division.
  • Be responsible and focused on generating demand from end users.
  • Liaising between different Samsung departments, channel partners and agencies to ensure smooth execution of new businesses, overlooking “proof of concept” projects’ implementation, defining strategies and action plans across the sales and marketing value chain, and closely liaising within the Samsung Community.
  • Arrangement of coordinating joint business plans, supply chain improvements, tracking competitor activities, and securing wins.
  • Provision of all the necessary business reporting and insights to internal stakeholders, ensuring close monitoring of business development.

Key Competencies

  • Expertise in Solution Selling and/or Value-Based Sales methodologies, hardware/software preferably in IT or similar - minimum 3-5 years
  • Background in an international organization - min 2 years, and proven successful track in previous jobs
  • Capability in pitching “C” and “C-1” levels
  • Capability to formulate and document strategies for products/verticals
  • Proficiency in English, MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Excellent communicator – Public Speaking experience is considered a plus
  • Familiarity with B2G contracts and EU-funded projects will be strong plus
  • Strong time management and self-management skills

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experienced professional with full understanding on specialized areas; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analyzing data requires evaluating identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments
  • Typically requires minimum 5 years’ of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience
