Position Summary
Samsung’s B2B Mobile Sales team (MX) is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to help drive growth! In this role, you will be key in building and strengthening customer and partner relationships in the Benelux region. As BDM, you will look for new market opportunities, create valuable partnerships, and make a real difference for both Samsung and its clients. Your main goal will be to find new business opportunities and help Samsung grow in various market segments. Are you ready to help drive Samsung’s B2B success in the Benelux?
Role and Responsibilities
How you make a difference
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a critical role in launching and growing Samsung’s new digital wallet solution in the Benelux region. Your responsibilities will focus on three key areas:
Samsung Wallet Development (90%)
- Lead discussions with banks and payment providers for Samsung Wallet’s implementation.
- Act as the project manager overseeing the end-to-end launch of Samsung Wallet.
- Drive the positioning of Samsung Wallet to clients, presenting its full value proposition.
- Coordinate all project documentation and ensure smooth pre-qualification processes.
- Build strong, high-level relationships with customers, including C-suite executives, to support the Wallet’s launch.
- Schedule and lead technical solution meetings with stakeholders to align on integration and updates.
- Take full ownership of issues and manage escalation processes when necessary.
Drive New Initiatives
- Identify new opportunities by developing partnerships with third-party solution providers.
- Focus on increasing market coverage through innovative solutions in various segments.
- Collaborate with the Samsung B2B team (Product Managers, channel partners, bid desk) to align on the best strategies and execution.
- Create and deliver new value propositions, integrating Samsung Knox and other Samsung solutions for different industries.
Achieve Key Business Goals
- Manage and report on results, track progress, and forecast the Wallet’s performance.
- Develop actionable plans for targeted verticals, laying out a clear growth strategy.
- Monitor each solution’s performance and share insights on market trends with the sales team.
- Coordinate demand generation efforts and ensure efficient handling of sales-qualified leads.
Your team
In this role, you’ll work independently to drive Samsung Wallet’s success in Benelux. Although there is no direct team, you’ll have support from a network of colleagues:
- Local technical support in the Netherlands
- Technical team in Poland for integration assistance
- Samsung Wallet team in the UK for expertise and best practices
- Banking support from Korea for financial integrations
Skills and Qualifications

In this role as a Business Development Manager, you’ll enjoy a high degree of autonomy, making it perfect for a self-starter who thrives under pressure. We’re looking for someone who can build strong relationships, is analytically sharp, and has the drive to make Samsung Wallet a success across Benelux. You’ll also need to be a true team player, with excellent collaboration skills, a strong customer focus, and exceptional communication abilities to connect effectively with both clients and colleagues.
We also request:
- A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Economics or in a related field.
- At least 5 years in sales or business development in the B2B technology market, which includes:
- Experience working with senior and executive management in top 500 companies.
- Experience working in the payments sector, including partnerships with banks.
- Broad network from C-level to IT managers, with a clear understanding of their business models and needs, plus knowledge of important partners in the market.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of key industry trends, customer needs, and strong strategies to engage clients.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of technology solutions and how they meet customer needs.
Additional Information: This position is open to candidates interested in working on an interim basis.
