Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Head of UK & Ireland, you have extensive experience and knowledge of managing sales and marketing relationships to the highest level, as a distributor or manufacturer, within the UK MI industry. You are a creative and out-of-the-box thinker, responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue targets via the management of MI resellers, and by developing new business in the Southern UK, ensuring that the brands covered by this role: Focusrite, Novation, ADAM Audio, Sequential and Oberheim, are represented to a best-in-class standard by our reseller partners.
The role is primarily field-based and will require frequent travel throughout the South of the UK, visiting key partners, prospecting for and securing new business opportunities outside of MI, working with Product Specialists and the UK Channel Marketing Coordinator to ensure that our brands are fully represented in the reseller environment and new channels. Being based within and able to work across the Southern UK, and possessing a full driving licence are essential.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Lead and drive the delivery of the revenue goals and targets of the business, with our Southern UK Resellers.
  • Regularly report on progress to the Head of UK & Ireland with regards to the revenue goals in the respective channel(s).
  • Secure contractual agreement with and manage the resellers in accordance with our reseller reward matrix, ensuring that the philosophy of this is always met by the reseller network.
  • Manage and develop the relationships with key reseller partners across purchasing, marketing and sales functions to ensure that we are monitoring their business growth and continuous promotion of our brands.
  • Provide creative sales and marketing solutions to resellers, to enhance the presentation of our products in-store, online, on social media channels and all sales and marketing platforms.
  • Work on business opportunities within the UK reseller network to drive customers and demand to our brands.
  • Working with the product specialists to ensure that our reseller partners and staff are trained on all of our MI brands.
  • Working closely with the UK Channel Marketing Coordinator to ensure that the reseller partners have executable marketing plans that can be measured, and will deliver demand within the UK & Ireland reseller channel.
  • Manage and develop the relationships with our ‘SI’ and other non-retail resellers to ensure our brands are ‘front and centre’ of their sales activities to their customers.
  • Prospect for, investigate and exploit new business opportunities and grow sales across all channels outside of the traditional MKI space.
  • Report and detail progress, activity and pipeline management on the company CRM system.
  • Represent and evangelise the Focusrite Group MI and Pro brands at trade shows and events in the UK and occasionally overseas, ensuring that the brand image is upheld and always represented to the highest standard.
  • Manage your T&E budget, keeping a close eye on expenditure.
  • As a company ambassador, uphold and maintain the world-class reputation and the standing of the Focusrite Group at all times.
