WHAT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

• DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MODELSYou design innovative business models that incorporate circular economy principles, evaluate their performance and impact on sustainability goals. You implement strategies for product-as-a-service and closed-loop systems to transition from selling chemical products to offering them as a service. You manage service agreements to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainability goals.
• EXTEND PRODUCT LIFE CYCLES AND ENHANCE RESOURCE EFFICIENCYYou develop strategies to increase the durability and lifespan of products. You optimize production processes to minimize resource consumption and waste, and develop systems for the collection, recycling, and reuse of end-of-life products.
• EXPLORE AND PILOT NEW BUSINESS MODELSYou research and identify emerging trends in sustainability and circular economy. You pilot new initiatives that reduce waste and enhance resource efficiency and assess the feasibility and scalability of these pilot projects.
• BUILD AND MAINTAIN PARTNERSHIPSYou establish partnerships with companies to create circular supply chains. You negotiate agreements that enhance resource efficiency, and foster strong relationships with new customers and partners to support long-term sustainability goals.

WHAT MAKES YOU THE RIGHT CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE?

• You hold a master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• You have a proven experience in business development, combined with a good understanding of emerging trends in sustainability and circular economy practices.
• You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to design and evaluate innovative business models.
• You possess good project management skills
• You have a proactive and collaborative mindset with a passion for driving meaningful change.
• You demonstrate excellent commercial and communication skills (Dutch and English) to build and maintain strong partnerships.
