As we continue to grow and develop, we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Business Development Manager to join our dedicated team.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to be based at our office in Glencolmcille. This role is crucial for maintaining and expanding our client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering relationships with our current clients to ensure we capitalize on all tendering opportunities, engaging with potential clients to achieve approved status within their supply chain, and supporting our estimating team in tender chasing and closing sales.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the construction or electrical sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed for client meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to identify and act on new tendering opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients to achieve approved supplier status.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to assist in chasing tenders and closing sales.
- Identify industry trends and emerging markets to support business growth.
- Attend networking events and industry conferences to promote Temp Electrix and expand our client base.
- Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.
- Monitor competitor activities and report key findings to the management team.
