POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Business Development Manager drives and supports the growth of our business by identifying and evaluating opportunities for customer-driven solutions that are cost-effective. This individual will help define key business opportunities for Total Oilfield Rentals Ltd.
This position is fulltime and is based out of Northeast British Columbia.
Responsibilities:
- Support Marketing and Operations team efforts to increase sales opportunities and development of major accounts in the local region.
- Create and develop effective partnerships and relationships with major customers so that sales objectives can be achieved
- Meets with customers/potential customers to execute sales personally to develop, foster, and nurture strong client relationships through ongoing contact and follow-up
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all current and future regulations and legislation pertaining to the Oil & Gas industry and trends.
- Will work with senior management to develop and implement market strategies for customers as well as securing commitment of TOR’s resources to assure continued customer satisfaction.
- Continually assess customer service levels to ensure clients receive the highest level of service
- Take full advantage of long-standing customer relations to effect referrals, to network within key Western Canada locations
- React quickly to service issues and resolve appropriately and in a professional manner, with a high sense of urgency
