Due to continued success and growth, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our talented and dynamic team. As we embark on our next phase of growth, we are looking for a professional who will focus on growing the business and extending the reach of it’s products and services in order to increase revenue. The role will report directly into the CEO and will have a clear annual new business revenue target.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCE:
- Sales & Business Development: Proven track record of success in exceeding sales targets, identifying and closing new business opportunities. Strong understanding of sales methodologies.
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Communication & Presentation: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate value propositions effectively, both in presentations and written proposals.
- Negotiation & Closing: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
- Market Research & Analysis: Ability to conduct market research, analyse data, and identify new market opportunities.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, track progress, and forecast sales.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, client services, digital) to ensure successful client onboarding and project delivery.
- Leadership & Management (Potential): Strong leadership and management skills with the potential to lead a team in the future.

Responsibilities:
- Formulating an effective sales strategy, identifying and generating new sales opportunities.
- Developing sales leads, pitching the company’s products and services and converting prospects into customers.
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients and new partnerships.
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
- Building relationships with new clients, identifying their needs and create product and service proposals to address these needs.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with prospective clients.
- Developing a depth of knowledge around our customers and industries.
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with prospective customers and uncover new leads.
- Utilisation of the CRM system (HubSpot) to manage pipeline, progress opportunities and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s services, the competition in the industry and our methodology and positioning.
- From Identifying to onboarding, collaborating with the digital and client service teams to ensure the end to end process of the customers journey is met.
- The potential to grow the department and manage a business development team in the future.
