Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

While we have a good traction amongst various public sector entities, we are making investments in growing this business significantly. This exciting opportunity is to be part of this growth journey.
As a business development manager for the public sector, you will have responsibility to generate a business pipeline vis an outbound sales effort. You will have access to all the tools needed, the support from marketing for promotional activities and lead generation and from pre-sales team in the bidding process. Supported by these and other global teams, you will have the opportunity to build and execute a sales plan and ownership for revenue targets.
Please note: This is a hybrid role and as such you are expected to work from our Milton Keynes office at least 2 days a week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build a solid pipeline of public sector opportunities in the UK.
  • Craft and execute sales plan towards meeting quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for prospects during their evaluation of Zoho products.
  • Use a consultative approach to establish the solution fit and communication of value in the context of customer’s needs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Zoho’s product offerings and industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling commercial proposals and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of Zoho App(s).
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including RFP responses, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-ups and clear communication throughout the process by documenting everything in our corporate CRM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Presales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
