Description:

Job Purpose: Develop and promote Seafast Group’s Export Sales in Reefer, Remote, and Relief sectors. Collaborate with Commercial and Operations departments to achieve sales targets and grow the business.

SKILLS:

  • Minimum 2 years of external sales experience in logistics.
  • Experience in sea, air, and road freight.
  • Graduate-level education preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong networking and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong negotiation skills at senior levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth in line with Seafast’s 5-year plan.
  • Sell specialised services: Refrigerated Cargo, Remote Locations, and Humanitarian Relief from the UK.
  • Understand Seafast Import, Cross Trade, and Temperature Controlled Warehousing for departmental support.
  • Conduct sales activities across the UK, 2-3 days per week on the road.
  • Focus on high-quality sales calls and targeted client visits.
  • Manage Export tenders and represent Seafast at Trade Fairs and Expos.
  • Maintain CRM system for customer management and sales pipeline development.
  • Issue quotations and assist in annual budget production.
  • Develop and maintain an annual Sales Plan with the Commercial Director.
  • Manage customer rate sheets and provide key account management.
