QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the IT services or managed service provider industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and close new business opportunities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
  • A collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

As a Business Development Manager at VITS, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our business through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing client relationships. You’ll collaborate closely with our management and IT solution architects to craft tailored solutions that drive client satisfaction and revenue.
You will leverage your exceptional sales and relationship-building skills to identify, pursue, and close opportunities that align with our service offerings. This role requires a strong understanding of technology services, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead Generation & Sales Strategy: Identify and generate new business opportunities within the SMB sector. Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their IT needs and propose solutions that drive value.
  • Solution Selling: Demonstrate a deep understanding of VITS’ service offerings, including managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and IT consultancy. Tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Market Analysis & Competitor Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client challenges. Provide strategic insights to keep VITS at the forefront of the industry.
  • Proposal Development & Negotiation: Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals, presentations, and pitches for prospective clients. Lead contract negotiations and close deals.
  • Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales activity, opportunities, and progress to senior management. Provide accurate forecasts and insights on business performance.
  • Networking & Brand Awareness: Represent VITS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand presence and awareness.
