Description:
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Proven ability in lead generation and network building, able to build rapport with both clients and colleagues
- Strong consultative sales experience in the SME market, motivated to achieve results and build a successful business
- Broad business and financial management understanding, able to handle issues pragmatically and collaboratively
- Experience in planning and executing business and sales strategies, self-starting with a structured approach to business development
- Proficient with IT tools like Excel, CRM systems, and Teams
- Full UK driving license and access to a car

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base and drive revenue growth. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in lead generation, consultative sales, and a passion for helping SMEs succeed.
We are ideally looking for someone located centrally within the West Country region, able to comfortably travel within the Bristol, Bath, and Swindon areas, with occasional visits to London for training and development purposes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Generation: Self-generate leads and build a network of introducers
- Consultative Sales: Identify client needs and offer tailored solutions within the SME market
- Business Acumen: Communicate the value of our financial services effectively
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Innovate new strategies to reach potential clients and grow revenue
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Results-Oriented: Meet sales targets and accurately forecast revenue
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, long-term client and partner relationships
