SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in the aquaculture industry, foodservice channel or FMCG
  • Have a passion for delivering new business.
  • Microsoft Office skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisational planning skills
  • Results driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth across Victoria and Tasmania whilst also delivering on the assigned budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Selling Yumbah’s portfolio of abalone, oysters and mussels with a key focus on various food markets, Pub and Clubs, Restaurant Groups and other precincts
  • Being accountable and managing all customers within the state(s)
  • Working collaboratively with the broader Sales and Marketing team to deliver the strategy and sales growth with local distributors and end customers.
