Description:
Salary: £23,798 - £27,000 dependent on skills and experience
Location: Northallerton, with hybrid working
Contract: Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday
Benefits: 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays’, company pension and other benefits.

We are seeking a Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team, contributing to the success and growth of Align Property Services.
This role requires a good understanding of bid writing, bid processes, and general marketing practices, offering the perfect opportunity to showcase and develop your skills in a supportive and innovative environment.

In this role, you will support our growth by gathering information and writing compelling tender bids to secure future pipelines of work and build our client portfolio. We are looking for someone who can showcase their creativity using social media and other marketing material to grow our profile in the industry, promoting APS in line with our vision and values with the aim to create new business leads, and establish our reputation as the Building Design Consultancy of choice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in this field work alongside a team who are driven to succeed. This is a new role within the Business Development team, and you will receive the full support of the wider team who will encourage you to ‘’think outside of the box’’ and really make the role your own.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:
- Hold a degree in Business Development, Media, Marketing, or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Have the knowledge of developing and implementing marketing strategies across a variety of platforms such as websites, social media, and other literature.
- Demonstrate experience in business development, bid writing, and bid management.
- Be familiar in bid and tender processes across public and private sectors.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of using Microsoft applications.
- Showcase good writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and clarity in bid documentation.
- Be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
