We’re on the hunt for an experienced Financial Analyst with a passion for building relationships and delivering solutions and with a keen eye for numbers to join us as a Business Development Officer.

How you’ll make an impact
As a Business Development Officer, you will use your excellent financial analysis and relationship building skills to support the Client Acquisition team in winning new business and delivering the best possible service to our clients. Your financial analysis experience will also help to support larger national deals when required.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare credit assessments by reviewing relevant information and identifying key credit risks
  • Provide a high level of support to the Head of Sales and Client Acquisition team
  • Assist new prospect customers through to settlement by liaising with introducers, accountants, bankers and prospects and the ScotPac team

What you’ll bring with you

  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Strong ability to build relationships with a solutions focused approach and work collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and desire to learn new skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including, word, excel, outlook and teams
  • An understanding of commercial finance solutions such as trade or debtor finance beneficial
