Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Coordinator, Post-Secondary and Business Development, the position is responsible for
supporting business development activities by initiating, organizing, promoting and facilitating the delivery of

industry credit courses and contract training programming and courses.

  • Conducts research, using S.W.O.T analysis, and monitors industry demand, community interest, and identifies

potential gaps in programming/courses.

  • Establishes partnerships with stakeholders to identify and select programming that meets their needs.
  • Advise and assist the Coordinator with staffing requirements and ensures appropriate instructional

requirements based on the program (e.g. nursing licensure).

  • Supports instructional staff including but not limited to directing workflow, monitoring quality of work, orientation,

coaching, input into performance assessment and assignment of scheduled days.

  • Assist with program planning, including curriculum, mode(s) of delivery, schedule, and an evaluative

framework.

  • Arranges facilities and equipment necessary to deliver courses/programs, including textbooks and other

instructional materials.

  • Monitors the quality of program delivery to ensure it meets program design, learning outcomes, established

curriculum, adult education principles and that it operates within College policies and procedures.

  • Conducts student application evaluation, recommending placement based on program enrollment capacity.
  • Documents and refers students to the Coordinator for supports to facilitate success or address conduct issues.
  • Initiates and prepares course evaluation reports, as well as maintains student records required for program

completion (e.g. attendance).

  • Initiates requests for program promotional materials, developed in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator,

as part of a strategy to facilitate recruitment.

  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program objectives and enhance the quality of

programs, thereby enhancing the College’s image.

  • Performs other responsibilities as may be assigned to contribute to the success of student learning and a

positive participation experience.

  • Travel will be required. Evening and weekends may be required as per program needs.

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  • A 2-year Diploma from a recognized post-secondary education institution in a related program area including

business, finance, marketing.

  • One year experience in a planning and organizing role to support program delivery.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience in the above areas of responsibility may be considered.
  • Demonstrated skills in collaborative problem solving, analysis, and leadership.
  • Demonstrated team building skills, including the ability to work in a collaborative team setting, and maintain a

respectful workplace.

  • Ability to establish and maintain a relationships and partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to research, analyze and assess information to develop and prepare reports, proposals, budgets,

evaluation methodologies, course content, recommendations and items for decision.

  • Ability to develop and prepare contract agreements and provisions to ensure the effective initiation and

organization of programs.

  • Strong written communication skills, effective public relations and public speaking ability.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of technology such as Zoom, Microsoft Office

Suite, Outlook, Internet and Social Media platforms, with the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.

  • General understanding of Adult Education principles, methodologies and practices.
  • Ability to provide a student centric approach to all aspects of the student life-cycle.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License

• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment. The supplies and equipment weigh approximately 25 lbs.
