As a Business Development Project Assistant, you will contribute to supporting our portfolio of projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates should preferably be a student or recent graduate in the Sciences (Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related Life Sciences programs).
- Candidates currently in Business programs with some or prior Sciences experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates in dual Sciences and Business programs are also encouraged to apply.
- This position is limited to Undergraduate students.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical knowledge in Science related fields with some business understanding
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined with a “can-do” attitude
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Familiar with database searching
- Familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
- Exploring commercialization of University technologies and identify potential industry partners and receptors.
- Assisting in Technology Project Support and Evaluation, Market Assessment and Market Research, Developmental Risk and Competitive Environment.
- Identifying potential industry partners, companies and markets for projects.
- Performing technology literature research and competitive landscape analysis.
- Assisting in project and technology marketing, developing marketing materials, and supporting documents.
- Assisting the Business Development Team in day-to-day activities.
- Assisting in promoting innovation culture on campus.
