As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll join our growing sales team and play a pivotal role in turning early, top-of-funnel interest into real opportunities and pipelines. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth by contacting identified prospects (part of our ICP) and booking meetings for our sales organization. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic, results-driven, self-motivated individual passionate about technology, SaaS, and security.
Responsibilities

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for Arcules, your primary role revolves around initiating and fostering relationships with potential clients to drive business growth and expand the company’s market presence. Here’s an overview of your key responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients matching our ICP. This involves utilizing various resources such as ZoomInfo, social media, and Salesforce to locate key contacts to prospect. Establish and manage a regular cadence of Outreach efforts relying heavily on phone outreach.
  • Outreach and Cold Calling: Reach out to prospects focused on personalized phone calls and emails to introduce Arcules’ products and services tailored to the needs and pain points of each prospect.
  • Qualifying Leads: Conduct initial qualification of leads to determine their fit for Arcules’ solutions. Assess their level of interest, details of their current solution/challenges, timeline, and decision-making authority to prioritize leads for further engagement for the sales organization.
  • Educating Prospects: During the initial discovery call, provide prospects with information about Arcules’ potential fit for their application. Demonstrate how Arcules’ solutions can address their specific security and surveillance needs and deliver value to their business to create interest in further dialogue with our sales organization.
  • Setting Appointments: Consistently achieve targets for meetings scheduled and held between prospects and the sales team. Ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads to the sales team for further nurturing.
  • Pipeline growth: Consistently achieve targets for meetings converted to opportunities. Coordinate with sales org to convert qualified leads into pipeline. Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects in Salesforce.

Minimum Qualifications

  • You bring at least 1-3 years of experience working in BDR or SDR roles (added bonus if you have experience in the V-SaaS / VMS, Security, or related technology fields)
  • You have grit and your desire for success motivates you to achieve ambitious goals
  • You demonstrate strong and professional English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • You can work in a structured and professional manner
  • You are a team player who enjoys working and collaborating with others and the friendly competition that is created by everyone wanting to be the highest achiever
  • You have experience and confidence working with CRM tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Linkedin Navigator, and Hubspot.
