Description:
Job Description: As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a critical role in driving our company’s growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for setting qualified discovery calls through industry-standard lead generation techniques, including email, calling, social selling, and personal networking. Your goal is to build strong relationships within our ideal customer profile (ICP) and set the stage for successful sales engagements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Proven experience in ABM lead generation within the institutional investment industry, specifically with large hedge funds, asset managers, and asset owners. Must be proficient and extremely comfortable speaking the industry language and jargon.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
- Team Player: It is in your nature to be transparent and take a team-first approach to achieving your goals and help others achieve their goals.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in using Salesforce, SalesLoft and LinkedIN Navigator (or similar lead gen tools)
- Goal-Oriented: Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving targets and KPIs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify, research and engage our ICP using a targeted, multi-touch, ABM lead generation strategy.
- Research & Personalization: Research ICP to understand the person’s and account’s current and historical behavior, their historical background in Salesforce and any other research that would help personalize outreach appropriately
- Outbound Outreach: Engage with prospects through personalized email, phone calls, social media, and networking to generate interest and identify needs that Omega Point can solve.
- Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on specific criteria before scheduling a qualified discovery call with Sales.
- Discovery Calls: Schedule and set up qualified discovery calls for our sales team with prospective clients.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with leads and prospects in Salesforce
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, growth and sales teams to develop consistent targeted messaging, utilize marketing content, and implement effective ABM lead generation strategies.
- Reporting: Track and report on personal key metrics, including lead generation and conversion rates.
