This is when our new colleague comes into the picture!
Responsibilities:
Right now we are looking for a Business Development Representative for our office in Helsinki. In this position, your main responsibility will be securing and booking high-quality meetings for your sales colleagues in the organisation. This includes outbound lead generation and managing and qualifying inbound leads, while your high level of service ensures that all contacts are left with a thorough understanding of our innovative solutions and a great impression of our company.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing existing sales data for analysis by the sales team to enable data driven sales decisions about customer and segment targeting. Another important task for you will be to identify sales prospects through various channels and market research.
While independently planning your everyday work to keep potential clients as your central focus, some examples of your tasks include:
- Research and identify new outbound leads through relevant information channels
- Qualify inbound leads and book meetings with relevant colleagues in the sales organisation
- Identify new sales opportunities for existing and new clients
- Plan and lead prioritised client activities
- Represent Dalux at webinars, seminars, fairs and conferences

We imagine that you work in a similar position today, and have experience with B2B sales, preferably in SaaS-solutions. Furthermore, you have a good sense of business, and an interest in digitalization. Our new colleague is someone who works in a structured and proactive manner, always keeping clients as the main focus. You approach potential clients in a professional and constructive manner, to ensure a genuine understanding and identification of clients’ needs.
You are comfortable in discussions with decision makers while at the same time having a strong focus on the end users’ perspective. Most importantly, you are genuinely preoccupied with making sure that everyone you are in contact with gets a positive experience with Dalux. Apart from this, you are technically interested and knowledge of BIM and VDC is considered an advantage. As a minimum, you are fluent in both Finnish and English, oral as well as written. Some travelling will also be required; mainly in Finland and occasionally to Denmark.
