Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR), who will play a key role in driving the company’s growth by identifying and engaging with key technology decision-makers, specifically CTOs and CIOs, across various industries. Your main focus will be on generating and qualifying new business opportunities for MindsDB’s AI developer platform, which enables organizations to move past prototyping and deliver production-ready AI applications that can form answers from any data.
To apply for this role you must be a motivated self-starter with a passion for technology and AI, and eager to contribute to a fast-growing startup environment. You must be willing to learn outbound prospecting techniques including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement, with strong communication skills that allow you to simplify complex technical concepts and present them compellingly. Highly organized and data-driven, you prioritize leveraging and updating CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot) to manage and report on pipeline activity. Adaptable and coachable, you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and are excited about the potential of AI and machine learning technology, with a strong desire to learn more about MindsDB’s offerings and the broader industry. This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in office/week) and we are looking for a candidate based in the Bay Area.
