To ensure continuous growth, we are now looking for a Business Development Representative Nordics to join our Commercial Ops team.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Business Development Representative you will be part of a bigger team and an essential part of one or several of our core vertical teams, working closely together with our sales team (Account Executives, Enterprise Account Executives), sales engineers, marketing and management teams. Working cross-functional, will help you prioritize and target specific accounts, prospect new business opportunities, qualify in/out according to pain-points and customer challenges, while driving quality pipeline.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working closely with our sales team, focusing on outbound prospecting strategies within specific accounts to set up qualified appointments.
  • Develop and execute on strong prospecting and follow up plans, audience segmentation and personalized approach.
  • Research and prospect designated accounts through relevant information channels.
  • Partner the Account Executives in generating pipeline via stakeholder management, sales calls and business case analysis, creating further growth and traction within our most successful verticals (insurance, utilities, telco, broadband, mobility) as well as new ones.
  • Represent Billogram at selected Nordics events and conferences together with Account Executives and other Commercial Team colleagues, when required.
  • Close collaboration on ABM marketing tactics, engagement campaigns, events follow ups and attendance. Active dialogue with third parties on the value Billogram is bringing to the market.
  • Usual prospecting techstack usage (previous experience using Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Salesloft, Lusha or sales cadences etc. executing on sales prospecting campaigns is highly valued).

SKILLS & TRAITS WHICH WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

Previous experience in business development, consultative (enterprise) sales and/or outbound prospecting within our main verticals (insurance, energy, telco) will help you onboard faster and promote best practices among the rest of the team. We are seeking someone who is comfortable reaching out to C-level stakeholders as well as having a broad understanding of digital payments, using MEDDIC methodology.

  • A refuse-to-lose mindset - the fintech environment is highly competitive and complex. Proven track record in booking meetings, pipeline generation is seen as a competitive advantage.
  • Good communication (written and verbal) - easily create a personal connection with prospects and colleagues and have the ability to add value to each interaction.
  • Strong time management skills - juggle with various tasks, being able to prioritize and deliver.
  • Strong problem solving skills - since we are a scale up, not everything is in place, so we encourage initiative and hands-on approach.
  • Good knowledge of the sales process reflected in the CRM (Salesforce) and technically savvy (G suite, Sales Navigator, sales prospecting tools, etc.)
  • Fluent in written and spoken Swedish, and full working proficiency in English is a must. Fluency in additional languages is a plus (for example Norwegian).
