The team is on the lookout for a curious, driven and innovative Business Development Representative. As a Business Development Representative at Simpro, you will be responsible for identifying and connecting with prospective customers. With a focus on lead qualification and generation, you will discuss the impact Simpro is able to bring to customers. Your goal is to book product demonstrations for the Sales Team. You will be at the forefront of our expansion, creating new business opportunities, and contributing to our mission of transforming trade contracting and field service businesses with cutting-edge solutions.
You will have access to a comprehensive tech stack to not only perform effectively in the role, but to also provide comprehensive analytics to ensure effective lead qualification / generation.

What You’ll Do

  • Build a strong pipeline of prospective customers by sourcing potential leads and converting outbound opportunities
  • Book product demonstrations between the Simpro Sales Team and potential customers by qualifying inbound leads and driving an effective lead generation strategy
  • Conduct detailed qualification calls that identify key areas of opportunities
  • Understand trade contracting and field service business workflows to effectively communicate the value and areas of opportunities that Simpro products provide
  • Update client information records on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Participate in weekly and monthly one-on-one and team forecast reviews, meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best-practice sharing
  • Execute personal campaigns, activities and processes to build and nurture a pipeline of prospects, ensuring a high conversion rate to qualified lead status to ensure above quota results are consistently achieved
  • Nurturing key stakeholder relationships through honest discussion of Simpro products and services and a thorough understanding of stakeholder business needs
  • Expertly position a compelling value proposition to single decision-makers right up to large buyer groups and advise on the sales process
  • You will have access to a comprehensive tech stack to not only perform effectively in the role, but to also provide comprehensive analytics to ensure effective lead qualification / generation.
