Description:
WalkMe (WKME) pioneered the world’s leading Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) so companies can effectively navigate the constant change brought on by technology. With WalkMe, organizations drive enterprise productivity and reduce risk by ensuring consistent, responsible, and efficient adoption of software and the workflows it powers. Our AI-driven platform sits on top of an organization’s tech stack, identifies where people experience friction, and delivers the personalized guidance and automation needed to get the job done, right in the flow of work.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will report directly to the Manager of Business Development in the Raleigh office. Your main goals are to collaborate with our Account Executives to open up important business opportunities for WalkMe. It will also require more strategy than a standard pipeline development role. You will be tasked with mapping out accounts we want to sell to and creating strategic plans for opening discussions with them. Your performance will depend on your ability to expand WalkMe’s client base.
Responsibilities:
- Expand WalkMe’s client base by researching and targeting prospective accounts to create net-new selling opportunities
- Identify and create cross selling opportunities within customer accounts
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads; this includes adhering to the SLAs set for follow up on inbound leads (MQLs)
- Use creative communications designed to increase customer interest in WalkMe products
- Research prospective clients and acquiring high-level contacts
- Book initial qualification and/or discovery meetings for AE’s within your assigned accounts
- Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
- Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate pipeline; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound cold (and warm) calls, emails and social selling
- Evangelize WalkMe and the Digital Adoption model
