Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the education and implementation of CARQUEST initiatives and services. Serves as product knowledge conduit between suppliers and CARQUEST Technical Institute and CARQUEST University for product training.

  • Maintains current technical knowledge of the assigned CARQUEST product lines and serves as the liaison between the suppliers of those product lines and our CARQUEST customers and teammates.
  • Communicates the benefits of the TECH-NET and CTI programs to teammates and existing Tech-Net Professional members.
  • Maintains close working relationships with the distribution centers, store group, and independent management teams to ensure teammates are well informed.
  • Assists management in designing product knowledge training for all teammates, commercial customers and national accounts.
  • Maintains Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in area of responsibility.
  • Gathers product information, such as features, benefits and technical data, for training both internal and external customers.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 1- 3 years
  • Automotive aftermarket experience

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Strong technical knowledge and background in automotive aftermarket
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to discern the importance of projects and schedule them accordingly
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
