JOB SUMMARY
We are now looking for a Business Development Specialist who will identify, prioritize, and pursue business opportunities with new customer prospects and secure future business using industry mapping across the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry. In this position, you will develop and drive the execution of the prospect account plan aligned with Tetra Pak Services and customer business objectives. Collaboration will be key, not only with your immediate team, but with cross-functional areas to provide business support to Services, Sales, Packaging, Processing Solutions & Equipment (PS&E), and Marketing & Product Management (M&PM).
This position is based on Panama City, Panama.
You will be travelling up to 50% of your time to prospect new customers in Central America & Caribbean Market remember this is your main responsibility.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
Responsibilities:
As Business Development Specialist, you will:
- Engage potential customers in Tetra Pak solutions by creating and developing relationships through regular physical visits to customers.
- Lead generation and pipeline mapping of new prospects for future growth
- Maintain on-going relationships with Sales, M&PM, Supply Chain, Services, Packaging and PS&E
- Fully understand our product portfolio for Services, Packaging Material and PS&E
- According to customers’ needs and profiles, identify and drive “easy-to-do-business” and Value Selling strategy.
- Support all administrative activities related to order management and design administration.
- Collaborate with different departments for forecasting purposes.
- Secure on time and in full transition of accounts to Sales and Key Account Managers once hand off the account has been approved.
