We are currently searching for a motivated, outgoing, and confident Business Development Specialist (BDS) to support our team in Phoenix. As a BDS, you will act as a liaison between Ventana Distributing and our customers to establish trust and long-term relationships with respect to advising clients of the best product for their needs, develop technical expertise, and drive increases in revenue through clearly defining our products value proposition.

Responsibilities:
- Devising and developing strategies and content to promote and sell products or services to existing and new clients.
- Preparing and delivering quotations for our customers.
- Technical customer development via in-person and electronic training.
- Subject matter expert for the lines of products we carry. At times, this may include on-site visits to both our customers and/or their customers’ place of business.
- Acts as a liaison between our customers and manufacturer, when needed.
- Meets with customers in a sales environment to drive product sales and knowledge.
- Demonstrates advanced products knowledge.
- Follows up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with product.
- Develop sales and marketing materials - introduce products to new users/ markets.
- Schedule sales appointments with current and prospective customers/ dealers
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge and educate customers about the products. This includes competitive analysis.
- Generate and track new leads to continue expanding the reach of the business.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s various products and services.
- Find potential customers through networking, cold-calling and industry research to increase sales.
- Use data to help customers understand how products can help them achieve their goals.
- Complete administrative tasks such as processing and recording sales, as needed.
