Position Summary
Alexion rare disease business unit is part of a global pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca focused on developing and delivering life-transforming therapies for patients with devastating and rare diseases. Patients with these life-threatening diseases often have no effective treatment options, and they and their families suffer with little hope. Our goal is to deliver medical breakthroughs where none currently exist.

We have a diverse portfolio of launch and development products across Biologics, Synthetics and CGT (including combination products) to deliver novel therapies to patients for disease prevention and treatment, spanning multiple disease areas.
New modalities and technologies are advancing rapidly and the Alexion Operations team recognises that it is vital to have a robust manufacturing and supply chain infrastructure in place to ensure that patients can access therapeutics as efficiently as possible.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Global Supply Chain & Strategy team to help in developing the manufacturing and supply strategy for these novel therapies and to provide supply chain expertise into critical strategic business projects. This individual will work in developing and implementing strategies to optimize the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring business continuity in the face of potential disruptions, and driving business growth through strategic partnerships and expansion opportunities.
