Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Support Officer to join our thriving Apprenticeships and Business Development department.
The Business Development Support Officer will provide administrative support to the team and play an integral part in the successful recruitment and registration of applicants and apprenticeships.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Level 2 Business Administration
  • GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale
  • GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience of working in a Business Admin role
  • Experience of working within education
  • Proven track record of supporting office functions

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of Individual Learner Record
  • Collation of applicants personal information and supporting documents
  • Use of CRM and NAS on a daily basis – Advertising apprenticeship vacancies
  • Cleansing and update of CRM
  • Chasing H&S/Company Openings and EDRS Numbers from employers which will be completed in the employer premises or via telephone where not possible
  • Feedback new business opportunities to the Business Development Team
  • Working towards KPI’s set by the Line Manager
  • Providing information and work alongside the compliance team to support the timely completion and return of contribution and incentive payment paperwork
  • Understands how apprenticeships are funded and keeps our internal records up to date in regards to funding bands.
