Description:
AVOLT is seeking a strategic and business-driven CFO who will not only manage our financial landscape but also drive sales growth and operational excellence. This executive role requires a leader who understands the nexus between financial health, sales performance, and operational efficiency, and who can work closely with supply and purchasing teams to ensure that sales volumes per market are met through effective stock planning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a CFO with a strong emphasis on sales growth and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Robust understanding of financial principles and a strategic mindset geared towards business expansion and sales excellence.
- Expertise in financial forecasting, risk management, and analyzing sales trends to inform financial and business strategies.
- Leadership experience with the capability to influence cross-functional teams and drive business outcomes.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills; proficiency in Swedish is advantageous.
- Previous experience working in a company selling consumer products and having a good understanding of the business concept.
- Openness to working in a startup environment where problem-solving and business development are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Champion the financial strategy of the company, driving profitability and ensuring financial health aligns with business goals.
- Oversee all areas of accounting, legal, regulatory compliance, reporting, tax, salaries, investments, and KPI tracking for both the parent company (AVOLT AB) and the subsidiary (AVOLT INC).
- Lead the financial planning and analysis to support business decisions, with a focus on sales growth and margin improvements.
- Play a key role in sales follow-up, working closely with the sales team to track performance and adjust strategies to meet sales targets.
- Collaborate with supply chain and purchasing teams to align stock planning with sales forecasts, optimizing inventory across markets.
- Drive the financial evaluation of sales strategies, providing insights and recommendations to maximize revenue and market share.
- Ensure robust financial controls and processes are in place to support sales operations and stock management.
- Develop and monitor financial performance indicators related to sales and operational efficiency, providing actionable insights to the CEO and board members.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that financial and operational strategies are cohesive and aligned with the company’s growth trajectory.
