What You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Business or related field

- - Finance/Accounting Preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Finance Operations teams, preferably in a global shared services environment, or 3 years of management experience.
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and completeness
- Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate key information and status to stakeholders.
- Hands-on, strong work ethic, and can-do attitude.
- Strong functional knowledge of the following areas: customer record maintenance, customer invoicing, revenue reporting, and reconciliations, credit & collections
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of International statutory compliance requirements
- Strong in process improvement & methodology
- Language: fluent speaker/writer in English. Additional languages a plus.
- Flexibility in working hours: role will require early morning calls/meetings with APAC region; and evening calls/meetings with US based counterpart

Responsibilities:

The Order to Cash, Business Engagement team is looking to add a hands-on, detail-oriented Business Engagement Senior Analyst to our growing team in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
We are looking for someone who can lead projects to improve and manage workflows between Order to Cash and B2B business owners for multiple LOBs; including Uber for Business, Uber Direct, and Uber Ads. This position will work closely with various Uber in-country teams across EMEA and APAC regions and central / regional cross functional groups like Accounting, Tax, Legal as well as Uber’s corporate clients. This position reports to Business Engagement Manager EMEA / APAC and is an individual contributor role.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and lead financial performance presentations to B2B business leadership.
  • Support the development & implementation of improved workflows & processes and ensure timely responses to customer and internal stakeholder financial inquiries.
  • Develop business requirements documents to build and implement solutions; align upstream and downstream processes and build consensus among key stakeholders.
  • As needed, lead special projects and assist with Credit, Collections, and Cash Applications functional support.
  • Collaborate with other Order to Cash units in designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end workflows for M&A integrations, global product expansions, and strategic account dispute resolution.
  • Work closely with other functions (e.g. Accounting, Systems, Treasury, Sales) to proactively manage and resolve business and operational issues in an innovative, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Engage Business Leadership in financial performance through i.e. monthly / quarterly business reviews
