WHO YOU ARE

  • Experienced in Telecom Operations: You have proven knowledge and hands-on experience in designing core telecom operational processes and related systems (ITIL, eTOM).

  • Customer Experience Expert: You excel in customer experience design and customer journey creation, ensuring high-quality service models.

  • Technically Proficient: You understand fixed and mobile network technology, processes, IT, and organizational dynamics to develop coherent, customer-focused solutions.
  • Collaborative and Skilled Negotiator: You possess strong facilitation and negotiation skills, having successfully worked within multi-disciplinary virtual teams, ideally in the telecom or IT sector.
  • Results-Oriented: You are driven by optimizing solution designs, delivering projects on time, and aligning process solutions with customer experience insights.

Responsibilities:

Are you passionate about shaping exceptional customer experiences and driving strategic growth through innovative service design? Join our dynamic team in Newbury at Vodafone as a Business Engineer, where you’ll play a crucial role in developing and optimizing business processes and service models that support our Enterprise Business Unit and Local Markets.

  • Design and transition service solutions and operating models for Enterprise Products, prioritizing customer experience and cost efficiency.
  • Interpret commercial product and business requirements to understand their impacts on operational processes and IT systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Legal & Regulatory, and Operational Support to define and refine service solution proposals.
  • Support the selection and management of suppliers for shared and managed services, including defining requirements, selecting suppliers, and participating in contract negotiations.
  • Manage small to medium scale service delivery projects for centrally provided and supported enterprise products, ensuring seamless implementation and high-quality customer experiences.
