Does the idea of discussing operational challenges both big and small across the Business Modernization and Digital Delivery Branch and leading brainstorming sessions sound intriguing to you? In this diverse job, you will learn and execute LEAN white belt training and actively work with areas across the branch to collect ideas, help to do research and planning associated with continuous improvement. You will engage staff from all areas, building an environment conducive to honest discussion, and sharing ideas and knowledge in a positive, engaging workplace.

YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Processes and systems (e.g. OntTax, imageON) with the ability to troubleshoot, summarize and facilitate change to processes across different areas (e.g. Service Ontario)
  • Systems development life cycle and user test environments to conduct user acceptance and regression testing, as well as usability prototype testing with end-users
  • and are proficient with desktop software to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and spreadsheets

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sessions with other areas in the branch to identify improvements, conduct business process reviews and re-engineering sessions as needed to ensure changes are efficient and measurable
  • Perform research and analyses on current work processes to reduce waste across the processes, while promoting changes that improve the client and staff experience
  • Lead change by planning, coordinating and facilitating sessions with work teams across the branch and beyond;
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
