Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to join our Commercial Banking Customer Offboarding and Exit team in the Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN market. Commercial Banking (CB) provides credit, treasury management, and corporate and investment banking solutions to businesses with sales generally >$25MM. This role will be responsible for designing and executing strategies for bank-initiated exits, and portfolio management activities to support the business. The position will support the identification of risks, design of mitigation strategies, and execution of the offboarding process, as well as participate in various initiatives in the CB Financial Crimes Risk Program space.

In this role, you will:

  • Effectively execute all processes and controls to exit or offboard Commercial Banking customers
  • Document exit decisions and determine exit strategies for customers in your assigned Commercial Banking business or division
  • Drive exit and offboarding process optimization, while minimizing reputation and operational risk to the bank
  • Lead ongoing knowledge share sessions for assigned business front office partners
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners, and other business stakeholders to provide guidance or feedback related to exit/offboard activities
  • Participate in cross-organizational or internal operational initiatives and improvement efforts
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
