Consolidate and analyze financial data from the local business, to foster accurate and easy to understand reporting, and to support strategic decision-making processes by business leaders.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Educated to degree level standard.
  • Business Finance / FP&A expertise.
  • High analytical skills.
  • A very good level of English speaking, writing, and reading is required.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in similar position.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, to include communication and negotiation with peers and top business executives.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work on her own and to comply with tight timeframes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with different countries and cultures is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights to the country business finance leaders based on robust financial analysis, planning and forecasting.
  • Deliver analysis for decision-making, either to country business finance or directly to the business.
  • Support cluster Business Finance lead in most cases; in addition, part of the leadership team of smaller businesses (countries or lines of businesses)
  • Conduct market research and analyzing trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement business plans.
  • Develop and maintain open communication and business relationships with peers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the execution of transformation projects (Future of Finance) and initiatives.
  • Monitor progress on projects impacting the business and report variances (cost, schedule, function, etc.) to relevant leadership
  • Guide country finance teams in the execution of robust monthly and quarterly end close processes and financial reviews from both a controllership and FP&A area of responsibility.
  • Drive the development of the monthly country/business forecasts and annual plan with identification of associated risks and opportunities.
  • Execute a strong internal control environment and close process within the segment/region; key areas include controls over revenue recognition, sales accounting, contract management, partner relations and financial reporting processes.
  • Partner with the cross functional Finance teams (GPOs) to address financial operational improvements in various end-to-end Finance processes.
  • Foster simplification and transformation initiatives.
