About the role
We are seeking a talented Business Growth Executive to play an important role
supporting Policy in Practice’s business growth teams.
In this apprenticeship role you will assist in all aspects of the marketing, sales and
client services teams’ functions alongside studying for a Level 3 Business
Administration Apprenticeship. You will contribute to the customer journey from lead
generation, through the sales process, to client onboarding, satisfaction and retention.
To be successful in this role you will need to be self confident, enthusiastic and
collaborative, and be able to use your initiative, organisational skills and proactive
drive, to support all business growth colleagues. You will need to be able to approach
and engage existing customers, partners and colleagues with confidence and
professionalism, and have the capability to manage problems before or as they arise.
The team
You will work in the central services team and report to the Business and People
Executive. The central services team provides key support to all teams at Policy in
Practice, leads on HR and people management, and ensures all business functions
are run in line with legal requirements, regulations and best practice.
Upon successful completion of the fixed term, there will likely be opportunities for
growth into one of the business growth teams or within the central services team.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Main accountabilities
The role will be split between the three business growth teams: marketing, sales and
client services.
Marketing team accountabilities
- Support the marketing team in the planning, preparation, coordination and follow up
of lead generation activities such as events, conferences, speaking engagements
and webinars
- Manage the inventory of event merchandise and collateral by keeping an up-to-date
stocktake, ensuring items falling under minimum stock levels are restocked
- Ensure event equipment, merchandise and collateral are properly stored
- Help to develop event marketing activity such as flyers, brochures and social media
content as well as marketing campaigns to ensure maximum attendance and
engagement
Sales team accountabilities
- Assist the sales team in lead generation, lead follow up and client management
conversations, enabling them to bring in new business and process renewals in a
timely manner. e.g. contract and service order form creation
- Facilitating and scheduling sales calls, demos, training sessions and renewal
meetings as required by the team
- Manage data input in Pipedrive (sales CRM), spreadsheets and other documentation
ensuring all communications and activities are logged, and that information is
accurate
- Provide ad hoc assistance to the sales team members with administrative tasks
Client services team accountabilities
- Assist the team with the LIFT community sessions including support with
content, invitations and follow up
- Support with onboarding clients by working with sales and client services to
ensure documents are collated and systems are kept up to date
- Provide support to the client services team in organising client visits and
demonstrations/training
- Support with administration around large scale projects
