VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a prestigious Food based FMCG Manufacturing Company in NI and Ireland with the recruitment of a Business Improvement Manager. This is a prestigious organisation and the successful individual will reap the rewards of a company that is thriving and places immense value on their staff.
Permanent position - Monday - Friday - Office is based in Craigavon.

Responsibilities:

The Business Excellence Manager will be responsible for reviewing processes and procedures across the organisation with the purpose to refine and improve the levels of efficiency and performance. They will have the responsibility of end-to-end change management including ensuring that our people will successfully change their current ways of working to achieve the optimum performance. Making the company more efficient, streamlining processes, putting plans into place and making recommendations.
For this the Business Excellence Manager will need to utilise different change management and continuous improvement tools, encourage and empower our people and mentor and coach our people to ensure the improvements are embedded as part of our culture.
§ Conducting an assessment of the current processes, what they could become and the gap analysis across the business which identifies opportunities for process improvement, automation / robotics, waste removal and cost reduction.
§ Identifying the changes in processes and procedures that are needed to deliver the identified improvements.
§ Defining the objectives and scope of the improvement plan and establishing a clear implementation plan.
§ Introducing and driving continuous improvement to processes and procedures across the business using various business improvement techniques.
§ Lead the measurement and analysis of the changes and improvements and create KPI’s or performance standards for the improved processes.
§ Successfully manage and deliver the changes by through engagement and empowerment of our staff to think different about what they do, how they do it and how to change it for the better.
§ Fostering the culture of continuous improvements/lean across the business including communication plans, identifying and effectively managing the barriers to change and maximise the engagement and ownership across the business.
Supporting and following all food safety and food hygiene policies and practices, ensuring that specified policies and practices are adhered to
§ Fully understanding product and customer specifications and all aspects of ‘quality.’
