Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Liaise and support assembly of stakeholders during cyber incidents cyber-fraud incidents or crisis events, as well as facilitate meetings and communication bridges.
- Build and maintain relationships, and during vendor and collection engagements, work with internal stakeholders (i.e., Business Lines, Technology groups, Threat/cyber teams (CSOC/CSIRT), Threat Intelligence, Fraud, Physical Security, legal, and executive community) throughout the collection management lifecycle.
- Collect information on cyber security or cyber threats and deliver to executive audiences using the appropriate language and content for leadership. (plain language briefings (written and verbal) and reports).
- Engage with information sharing teams to create non-technical communication materials to inform critical stakeholders on emerging events that have or may have impact to TD to ensure consistent information is gathered and shared with appropriate stakeholders.
- Communicate to impacted teams and key stakeholders using appropriate language and content for the targeted audience.
- Facilitate timely engagement and coordinate vendor value with core Fusion Centre partners
- Engage key stakeholders to conduct a detailed internal assessment of TD’s readiness against a scenario experienced by the external party.
- Provide support and consulting for Audits, help compose management responses and appropriate remediation activities.
- Apply a teamwork philosophy with technology and partners, service or platform owners to integrate all technology security components and address control gaps.
- Consult and execute the process for regulatory compliance requirements and reporting.
- Actively contribute to the definition, development, and oversight of a global security management strategy and framework.
- Involved and will lead strategic work to assist in the maturation and development of the collection management practice.
- Influence behavior to reduce threats, foster a strong technology threat management culture.
- Define, develop, implement and manage standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate threats and maximize security, service availability, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, technology control standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Assess, identify and escalate issues appropriately.
- Think forward and provide early gap mitigation to emerging threat vectors globally
REQUIREMENTS
- Understanding of cyber threat landscape and key threats to the financial sector
- Previous cybersecurity/cyber intelligence role preferred
- Experience in liaison activities e.g., working with law enforcement or government agencies, managing relationships
- Outstanding communication and intrapersonal skills
- Ability to interface with a variety of stakeholders ranging from C-suite to technical
- Undergraduate degree from a technical domain (e.g. finance, engineering, mathematics/statistics computer science), preferably from a STEM program
- Experience with automation tools and proven implementation record
- Ability to quickly and independently structure and deliver on new problems not previous tackled by the bank
- Demonstrated analytical, modeling and problem solving skills
- Creative, Critical, Conceptual thinker, ability to wade through data and arrive at conclusions
- Ability to communicate strategy analysis to both technical and non-technical team members, either verbally or via documentation
- Ability to take initiative and work independently under tight timelines
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Motivated to constantly strive to find innovative ways to enhance capabilities
