Description:

Join our Commodities and Global Markets team and support our sales teams, business heads, and senior leadership team to execute client strategy, and work closely with business stakeholders and data domain owners to implement effective data management, automation and data driven insights.

What role will you play?
You will lead the delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering, data analysis, data modelling and design, through to data visualisation in Power BI to deliver insights to business stakeholders. Through identifying opportunities and recommend solutions for business problems (including automation), you will work alongside our Group Data Office, Data Architects, and Data Domain Owners to shape our data strategy as we work towards our strategic future state.
Furthermore, you will contribute to the Business Insights team strategy, manage project prioritisation and backlog in accordance with that and perform ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling to validate business requirements and prototype solutions.

What you offer

  • 5+ years’ of experience working as a business/data/technical analyst ideally within banking and financial services or consulting firm
  • Experienced working with data platforms and analytical technologies such as Dataiku, Power BI, Starburst Presto, Quasar and Redshift
  • Proficiency with programming languages (such as SQL, Python, R)
  • Experience in data modelling and developing business intelligence insights with a core focus on end-user consumption and the importance of strong data visualization and design principles
  • Experience in project and change management, with proven multi-tasking skills to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadlinesUnderstanding of end-to-end delivery of data products and applications, including group policies and procedures for data collection and analysis
