JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking to recruit a Business Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for utilizing software to collate and covert raw data as well as analyze, mine and visualize said data to help the organization make data-driven decisions. This role involves using historical and current data to drive current and future business operations ensuring profit maximization. The Business Intelligence Analyst will have a comprehensive view of the organization’s data and use that data to drive change, eliminate inefficiencies and quickly adapt to market changes. To excel, you must be methodical and well-organized in your approach to work.

• Minimum Qualification : Degree
• Experience Level : Mid level
• Experience Length : 4 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as mathematics, statistics, computer science/ engineering or other related fields. A master’s degree will be an added advantage
• Minimum of four (4) years of proven experience in a data analyst position. Experience working with major datasets in health care would be an added advantage.
• Statistical/ data analysis certifications will be an added advantage
• In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create database systems and applications.
• Develop complex data analysis, methodologies, and predictive data models for assessing the business areas or industries the organization is focused on.
• Use data findings to analyze and predict trends in the customer base and amongst the organization’s targeted consumer population as a whole.
• Ensure regular and consistent database updates and management processes are in place to maximize information gathering and utilization.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders for research topics, refine research questions and design analytical protocols.
• Develop systems and tools for effective data management, visualization and interpretation (systems design, dashboards, information graphics, mapping, Tableau).
• Work closely with executive management and other internal stakeholders by providing technical assistance, and building understanding about data usage.
• Manipulate and link different data sets using data mining, providing the business with accurate, relevant and timely data, identifying correlations and patterns, research and performance information that contributes to a culture of continuous improvement, enhanced efficiency and evidence-based decision-making for the organization.
