We are seeking a versatile and experienced Business Intelligence & Data Informatics Analyst to support our Identity and Access Governance (IAG) organization. Identity & access is at the forefront of safeguarding our data and digital identities, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to innovate in cybersecurity. You’ll be at the center of this exciting and growing field.
In this role, you will be a key member of a multi-functional team, creatively designing and delivering data solutions, dashboards, and analytics to extract meaningful insights and recommendations to the IAG organization - ultimately supporting the strategic direction of the team.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Technical proficiencies required:
  • Microsoft SQL Server – database design, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures. Ability to join and manipulate data in very complex queries.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Tableau or Power BI (Tableau preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel (advanced)
  • Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate & Power Apps
  • Python
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like SSIS, Informatica, Boomi or NiFi
  • Personal attributes required:
  • Exceptional attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Skilled in analytical thinking and problem-solving; comfortable working with numbers, statistics, and large datasets.
  • Quick learner, able to adopt new tools and leverage insights to make data-driven decisions and sound recommendations to both peers and leadership.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Outstanding communicator, able to explain ideas or concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work independently, tackle ambiguous projects, and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, all while meeting commitments.
  • Cooperative and inclusive with a positive demeanor, well-suited for working across geographical and organizational cultures.
  • Preference given to candidates who possess the following:
  • Experience in data science and machine learning.
  • Microsoft Visual Studio, VS Code, and coding skills to develop both backend and UI development.
  • Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
  • PowerShell
  • ActiveBatch

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in related discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Support IAG Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis and generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to support IAM operations, decision-making, and end-user resources.
  • Automation and Data Collection: Design and implement automation solutions using tools like Python, Power Automate, and other scripting tools. Create data collection solutions both for end-users (such as SharePoint or custom user interfaces) as well as automatically capturing, merging and summarizing data from various sources.
  • Define solutions and make recommendations: Use your unique skills to define the best solution to the problem, improve upon basic requirements, anticipate the needs of the customer, and make data-driven conclusions. Identity next steps, highlight issues with the data, communicate outcomes and recommendations.
  • Data Informatics:
  • Retrieve data from sources such as databases, usage logs, SharePoint lists, surveys, and web analytics. Perform ETL and data transformation tasks to form useful composite views.
  • Create and maintain SharePoint lists or custom solutions to interact with end-users and provide automation solutions using tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Use sophisticated SQL queries and advanced Excel operations to manipulate large datasets.
  • Perform thorough testing and validation of data and reports; ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Design, develop and test new Microsoft SQL databases, tables, stored procedures, views, and indexes. Evaluate what’s currently in place to look for optimization opportunities that can improve both speed and data accuracy.
  • Business Intelligence Analysis:
  • Design and create insightful and user-friendly reports, dashboards and visualizations with a focus on usability, aesthetics, and highlighting critical information.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets, identity patterns and trends, and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic direction.
  • Work regularly with leadership and peers to solicit ideas for new solutions, changes to existing solutions, and independently identify and implement improvements. Design, test and vet results with stakeholders and raise awareness to the team when new capabilities are made available. Provide documentation and training as needed.
  • Develop methods to identify data anomalies and broken business rules.
  • Build strong relationships with peers, leadership and other collaborators. We have a global workforce, and you will have the opportunity to work directly with team members from around the world.
