Ford Pro Intelligence provides telematics and fleet management services to our commercial and fleet customers. Ford Pro products and services serve as a foundational building block to Ford’s continued leadership and innovation in fleet/commercial vehicle market segments. Fleets are our future, representing a significant portion of vehicle sales and continual expected growth.

Data Modeling & Design:

• Design, develop, and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data marts specifically focused on fleet management data.
• Analyze business requirements related to fleet operations and translate them into technical specifications for data structures and ETL processes.
• Develop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the fleet management domain.

ETL Development & Management:

• Develop and maintain efficient and scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move fleet management data from various sources into data warehouses and data marts.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency, ensuring timely data delivery for fleet management reporting and analysis.
• Design and implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms for fleet management ETL processes.

Fleet Management Reporting & Visualization:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using industry-standard BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense) specifically tailored for fleet management insights.
• Design and implement data visualizations that effectively communicate fleet performance metrics, cost analysis, safety trends, and other relevant insights to various stakeholders across the organization.
• Ensure reports and visualizations are user-friendly, intuitive, and meet the specific needs of fleet managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders.

Fleet Data Analysis & Insights:

• Analyze fleet data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support optimizing fleet performance, managing costs, ensuring safety, and improving operational efficiency.
• Communicate data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other forms of communication, focusing on actionable recommendations for fleet optimization.
• Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements within fleet operations and recommend solutions based on data analysis.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with fleet customers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure alignment between data solutions and fleet management objectives.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure data integration and consistency across systems, particularly those related to fleet management.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts and data insights to non-technical audiences within the fleet management context.
