Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Developer with experience in the development and implementation of BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BI tools such as PowerBI and a strong background in data analytics
Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• BI Solution Development:
• Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using PowerBI and other relevant BI tools.
• Create interactive and user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support data-driven decision-making.
• Data Management:
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into BI tools.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across different datasets.
• Develop and maintain data models, including star schema and snowflake schema designs.
• Analysis and Reporting:
• Working with senior member of the BI team to analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with IT teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure BI solutions meet business objectives.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of BI solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
• Documentation:
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation of BI solutions, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Intelligence Professional) are preferred.
• Previous experience in BI development and implementation.
• Proficiency in PowerBI is required. Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Azure, or relevant DevOps certifications.
• Background in data science or analytics, with practical knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and interoperability frameworks (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
