KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive experience in a senior BI role within a large-scale business environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of modern BI tools and platforms, with a focus on practical and strategic application.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to apply these skills to drive business impact.
• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to deliver complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in aligning BI initiatives with broader organisational goals and objectives.Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Global Switch is on a mission to transform its overall information strategy across the whole company encompassing all reporting to our Board/Shareholders, Executive Committee, across all business functions and our customers. Our powerful agenda will inform strategy and unearth opportunity across the group.
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence senior professional that can implement our agenda across the group working at all levels of the business and with world class platforms, services and partners as well as leading our internal team of Information and Data Architects and Developers. You will oversee data governance and standards across the business, the development and ongoing management of our Modern Data Platform and the continued evolution of the strategy as our business continues to scale and grow. This is a really exciting time to join a global data centre business where Business Intelligence and Digital Transformation is a key enabler to our future strategy of the company and heavily supported by senior leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setting the overall architecture and the delivery of all data standards and governance across all applications, systems and platforms across the company.
• Working closely with all key stakeholders across the business to understand their site and functional areas and strategies and build these into the company Business Intelligence agenda.
• Understand the organisations business processes, systems, tools, regulations and structure and how they interrelate to provide intelligence and reporting service products through automated dashboards that create value for the business, our shareholders and our customers.
• Oversee the information design processes for application platforms as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
• Define and manage the technology governance processes for the Information and Data landscape across the company.
