Description:
Whitbread has a big growth strategy, and our Commercial Data Operations team is critical to ensuring the initiatives are implemented to support all six pillars for Whitbread’s growth plan.
As a Business Lead you will support the development and delivery of a pipeline of change for Premier Inn’s hotel management system (Opera Cloud).
You’ll become the Hotel Management System, “subject matter expert”, acting as the focal point for the introduction of new functionality through the management and prioritisation of a development backlog.
Please note this is a 15 Month Secondment.
Salary: £60,000 - £63,000.
Location: Dunstable
WHAT WE NEED
A broad understanding of the business processes supported by Central
Reservation Systems and Property Management Systems.
Good understanding of Opera Cloud
Experience of the Premier Inn business or general hospitality experience
Knowledge of key procedures and standards for the Premier Inn business or hospitality
Experience in working within teams delivering change/continuous improvement
Strong fact-gathering and research skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong people and communication skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
You will provide guidance and support to teams across Operations and Support Centre in identifying and applying the most effective solutions to problems encountered with the HMS.
You will facilitate and drive a culture of continuous improvement, focusing not only on documenting and maintaining current processes, but also constantly exploring and acting on opportunities to improve process quality and efficiency.
You will provide sufficient structured feedback loops to embed best practice and capture/evolve new ideas from key stakeholders to develop and refine new processes that enable more efficient and effective ways of working.
