BUSINESS MANAGEMENT / ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Venesco LLC is looking for a Business Management / Accounting Assistant provide Advisory & Assistance Services to 711HPW/RHB. The contractor shall meet all requirements of the basic contract and provide a professionally and technically qualified individual to perform all tasks in the following paragraphs to fulfill the requirements of this task order.
The Air & Space Biosciences Division (711 HPW/RHB) is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Management Assistant to support day to day operations within the Air & Space Biosciences Division portfolio. This role will apply business, financial, program and operations management principles and expertise to seamlessly guide the business operations through the various phases of the research acquisition lifecycle. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, management, and strong communication skills to be able to work well under pressure. FOPR 24-29

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1.1.1.1 The contractor employee shall possess or be in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business or management.
  • 1.1.1.2 The contract employee shall possess at least four (4) years of demonstrated experience in financial handlings for various company accounts.
  • 1.1.1.3 The contract employee shall possess at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in record management.
  • 1.1.1.4 The contractor employee shall possess strong organizational and managerial skills.
  • 1.1.1.5 The contractor employee shall possess strong organizational and time
  • management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively. 1.1.1.6 The contractor employee shall possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders. As well as interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • 1.1.1.7 The contractor employee shall demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office software and experience with financial business software.
  • 1.1.1.8 The contractor employee shall have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. The NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager by start of performance.

HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1.1.2.1 Project, business, or financial management classes completed.
  • 1.1.2.2 Demonstrated experience in reconciling, invoicing, and maintaining documentation for financial institutions.
  • 1.1.2.3 Demonstrated experience in proficiently maintaining accurate inventory.
  • 1.1.2.4 Demonstrated experience with all PWS 1.2 tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • 1.2.1 The contractor employee shall follow in-place, and assist with developing, administrative and monitoring support tools, as required, to perform daily operations associated with establishment, maintenance, and oversight of the execution within the medical research portfolio.
  • 1.2.2 The contractor employee shall complete business administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, preparing documents, organizing files, and handling paperwork.
  • 1.2.3 The contractor employee shall assist the business managers to allocate, forecast, and execute financial requirements for the Air & Space Biosciences Division portfolio.
  • 1.2.4 The contractor employee shall support the collection, analysis, and appraisal of business data required to draw conclusions, and work with the project/program managers to devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
  • 1.2.5 The contractor employee shall engage in learning defense acquisition and aerospace medical research policies and regulations and recommend appropriate action consistent with those guidelines.
  • 1.2.6 The contractor employee shall assist in coordinating various efforts by tracking progress, scheduling meetings, and ensuring deadlines are met. The contractor shall assist in business analysis and gather information needed for efforts.
  • 1.2.7 The contractor employee shall interact with leadership and program managers by providing assistance and answering queries to meet mission requirements.
  • 1.2.8 The contractor employee shall assist in data management by organizing and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other relevant documents as well as data entry and generating reports as needed.
  • 1.2.9 The contractor employee shall utilize financial/programming data systems to retrieve, process, and synthesize information, generates reports to support analysis, and
  • documents requirements for additional system capabilities. The contractor employee shall be/become familiar with financial systems, including but not limited to the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) System. 1.2.10 The contractor employee shall perform budget tasks and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding.
  • 1.2.11 The contractor employee shall provide technical guidance, advisory support, and assistance on a wide range of business management issues.
  • 1.2.12 The contractor employee shall support the executive levels within the Government and to contract/industry representatives. If requested, the contractor employee shall participate in portfolio reviews, conferences, and meetings to deliver presentations on program requirements, advocate program objectives, status, accomplishments, challenges encountered and anticipated, and collaborations within and outside of the 711th Human Performance Wing.
  • 1.2.13 The contractor employee shall support the expansion of electronic products required for project reporting and management oversight delivered to Major Commands, management officials, and identified program/project stakeholders (Semi-Annual Reviews, Quarterly and Ad Hoc Status Reports, and Program Management Reviews).
