About the Department
abrdn Investments Luxembourg, S.A. (aILSA) plays a crucial role in ensuring our operations are both compliant and efficient. Faced with increasing regulatory requirements and the need for digitalization, the aILSA team works closely with key stakeholders to meet regulatory obligations and align with our commercial objectives.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to provide maternity cover support to our Executive team at abrdn Investments Luxembourg, S.A. The role involves ensuring the company’s regulatory compliance while helping to meet its commercial goals. A significant part of the role will be focused on supporting the Executive team in delivering regulatory reporting obligations and assisting with regulatory-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the automation and standardization of Management Company and Fund Regulatory reporting projects.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of periodic reports for Funds and the Management Company, as well as oversee external audits.
  • Ensure the office’s compliance with the teleworking policy.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team and other internal support teams to deliver client or depositary due diligence requirements.
  • Support the Executive team in various regulatory projects.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Proven experience in the investment fund industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple regulatory and compliance projects simultaneously.
  • A high level of computer literacy, with proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software. Knowledge of coding (e.g., VBA, Python) is an advantage.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling close collaboration with colleagues, clients, and external business contacts.
  • A self-starter attitude, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
