Job Type: 12 month Fixed term contract
Location: This role is based in our London, Old Bailey office with time spent working in the office and at home. Typically, this will comprise 2 days working in the office each week.

Salary and benefits : Up to £65,000 (depending on experience) plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days.
We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Business Manager to join our Corporate Affairs & Brand Function.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Corporate Affairs and Brand (CA&B) function. The role of CA&B function is to fulfill our Group’s strategic priorities and to deliver our purpose, driving impact at scale, and build our brands and reputation, influencing our audiences to action. We do this by building a high performing function, providing excellent service to our stakeholders. The function encompasses six teams: Group Brand & Marketing, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, Investor Relations, Phoenix Insights, and Sustainability.

Reporting to the Head of Business Performance and Strategic Planning, whose scope encompasses strategic planning and performance, budgeting and operating costs and risk management and control environment, you will play a key role in enhancing our operating model and ways of working across the Corporate Affairs and Brand function.   • Lead a series of deep-dive mini projects to identify, develop, and implement strategic improvements to enhance the CA&B operating model.
  • Drive process and performance enhancements, collaborating with the extended business area Leadership Team to embed consistent process, system, and performance improvements across all CA&B teams.
  • Innovate with digital solutions, where it makes sense, exploring and integrating technology to optimise the CA&B operating model.
