  • Electrical Engineering degree or technical diploma
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial automation
  • Intensive technical knowledge, competency in HMI and other Industry Automation products, solutions
  • Intensive knowledge of the Industrial automation market.
  • Possess strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic plans.
  • Have strong interpersonal, collaboration skills and hunter mindset.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% within Western Canada (BC, AB, MB, SK

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Industry Automation Business of Schneider Electric Canada is focused to grow its business through the key customer segments: OEM, EU, channel partners and others.

In this individual contributor role, you will be accountable for driving the business growth with the sales teams, the channer partners, and customers around the assigned offers. Your accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Achieve the Order and Sales targets of the assigned products.
  • Create awareness and generate demand for the Schneider Electric Industrial Automation products in general and for the assigned products in specific.
  • Identify new opportunities and potential markets for business growth.
  • Create and execute the business plan for the assigned products, in collaboration with the sales teams, the Offer Management (OM) teams and other relevant teams.
  • Work with the distributors, targeted customers to generate demands for the business via activities such as: Specification, Training, Customer day, Tradeshow, Exhibitions, Trailer show, or any other customer events.
  • Acquire market intelligent and work with the OM team to finetune the price positioning of the assigned products.
  • Work closely with the OM team on product launches, promotion, and marketing initiatives.
  • Promote cross selling internally and externally.
  • Promote internal knowledge sharing and learning through Success stories, internal training/collaboration sessions.
  • Convert new customers.
  • Provide pre-sales support to sales teams when required.
